I CAN do this.
I ran 10 kms today. It was the first time since finding out I was pregnant that I've done that. It felt good. (Okay, well..it was a little painful while I was doing it, but when I finished it felt good.) It took me 1hr5mins - not a bad start. I was down to 59mins before Tysen, so I guess that's my goal now.

I still have 10 lbs to lose...those last ten are always the hardest. I'm trying not to dwell on it. I'm also trying not to eat granola with chocolate chips everyday. Hmmm...better work harder on the last one.

My goal is to not eat refined sugar for one week. A week's easy, right?? And we've switched completely to whole wheat bread. Did you know that white bread raises your blood sugar more than actually just eating sugar?!?! Maybe that's why it tastes so good..especially with peanut butter and raspberry jam, yummy. I guess it's okay to daydream about PB&J on white.

Only Ten Pounds to Go
I can wear my size 10 jeans comfortably! Yeah! I still have some weight to go...but am feeling better about myself. I have to say that my body has definitely changed shape for good...these boobs just aren't getting any smaller and I think part of my new butt is permanent. Oh well...they match the stretch marks on my belly and back! I've decided to just accept these as a good way to remember carrying Tysen.

I've signed up to do the Vancouver Sun Run in April...this means I need to get back on the road! So far I've been sticking to the treadmill because I don't like running in the snow. If the weather doesn't improve, I might have to just grin and bear it. We'll see.
