I Don't Get It?
So I lost another six pounds. While this is great - I really don't know why. I would say that I've been eating within my points about 60% of the time. We ate out three times this week (although I was good and ordered a salad from McD's). I've had donuts and eatmore squares. And I still lost weight. I only went to the gym once. I just don't get it. But I'll take it, lol.

Back to What Works
I've rejoined weightwatchers online. This is what worked for me before I had Tysen, so I think it will work again. Wish me luck!
On the workout front - I injured my knee while we were camping (took a little spill down a little hill - damn hill, I think everyone fell at least once!). So my doc has done some x-rays but expects they'll have to do an MRI to figure out what's wrong. Until then - I'm off of it as much as possible. It's really frustrating to not even be able to go for a walk!!

My Period, The Gym and Oprah
These are things I've been doing lately; I got my period (which is weird because I'm on the pill, but anyway), I rejoined the gym and have gone a couple times (oohh my aching muscles) and I've become a faithful Oprah watcher. I have to admit - it's a good show. I used to make fun of those who watched all these talk shows - but when you're at home all day - they're a great diversion! I've also been tuning into Dr.Phil, though not as regularly. '
I didn't lose any weight last week, but it could be that I did and I'm just retaining because of my period. We'll see on Friday (we're going camping so I'm going to weigh in on Friday rather than Saturday).

Excuses, Excuses
I keep meaning to go for a run. And then Tysen gets up and by the time I realize it - it's almost lunchtime!! Glenn is on holidays for the next couple of weeks - so he can look after Tysen. My biggest problem has been the weather - it's too damn hot out to run! I'm trying not to make excuses - I really want to exercise, the logistics just haven't happened yet. I have done some yoga, so I'm not completely lazy. I'm thinking of joining the gym again - they have childminding there, so it would be easy to just take Tysen with me. I would like to get a jog stroller and run with him, but you aren't supposed to run with babies until they are around 4-5 mos old so that they have better head and neck strength. Oh, well. We'll get this figured out eventually.
On the bright side - we have been eating quite healthy. It's really a shame that my milk dried up - I was liking burning those calories without trying!

We're Back!
After our two week jaunt around BC, we're back. When I have some time I will write a post giving the details of our trip. For now - just know that while it was fun, two weeks is a long time to be camping with a baby!
On the bright side - I lost another 5 lbs while we were gone!
